May 2010

So in the mix of discovering were having twins, morning sickness, and my growing belly. I forgot to post the events of May. So sorry for the delay, but here is our May. ( Hehe that rhymed)

Camping!
We started out the month with a camping trip. We got a great deal on a tent and were so excited to try it out. We stayed a C.J. Strike Dam. It was really pretty, but I felt like we were at the city park with all the trees and grass. Seth loved it though. We learned though May isn't the best camping month. It was cold and windy almost the whole time, but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. Here are some of the highlights from our trip.
We couldn't find Seth's hat so he got to wear mom's. :)
This is were we stayed doesn't it look like a city park. lol
Brad and Seat had a great time chasing the squearls.
Heres our beautiful tent, which we bought for $15.oo at an REI Sale! I'm so proud of my thrifty husband.
Yes this is my hair. After Brad wiped bird poop out of it. GRR!
Seth loves to drive the car!
We went for a drive and decided to turn back after reading this sign.
Seth loved being outside all the time.
Chillin in Dads chair!

This is a two part picture of my sneaky son trying to get a soda.
He didn't know we were watching.
The last morning! Seth devouring his pancakes.
He's so messy.
All cleaned up and ready to go home.
Here you can see how packed the car really was.
(theres no way we could fit the twins in there two. Two words. New Car!)

Seth's Birthday!
Seth turned 1 on the 31st of May. He grew so fast. It's hard to believe that just a year ago he wasn't part f our lives. The year went so fast, but its hard to remember life without him. I'm hoping to post a bunch of pictures from his first year, but if I don't know we love him and he is the joy of our lives.
Seth and his girlfriend Cienna waiting for cake. I love Seth face.
So this cake my look like a disaster, but let me explain. It's green because that is Seth's favorite color. The candles are for the ages. Seth got one and the other two clusters if you look from the top read 47 and 18, Because we had a joint party with my mom, and brother.
Seth wouldn't let anyone near his slice of cake. Little piggy! He got 2 slices!
Birthday Bath!
Presents! He sat through opening one and then decided his old toys would do just fine.
Seth is mommies little helper.
He always wants to be in the middle of whatever i'm doing
even if that means being in the dyer when I'm trying to load it.

Twins!

Twins!
Yes this is really! I think, I still haven't quite come to terms with the fact that there are two babies inside of me instead of the one we previously believed. We found out we were expecting around the middle of May. We were excited. I have always wanted my children close in age in hopes that, they would stay close friends through adulthood. I didn't know they would be this close though. As of the end of the year I will have three children under the age of 18 months. Wow! I'm going to be busy.

I'm only 2 months along, but for any of you who have ever wondered what it would be like to have twins let me tell you. So far everything is twice as bad. The nausea, the fatigue, the raging hormones, ( my poor poor husband). And the doctor says that it will only get worse as i get further along, he told me to forget everything that I had with Seth, because this is a totally different ball game.

As for health thus far everything is good. Both babies (so strange) have strong heart beats and are doing well. My next appointment is at the end of the month and we will be able to see wither the are identical or fraternal. They will also place me in a risk category at that appointment. I will be on a first name bases with the ultrasound people by the time I deliver, as i get to see them at almost every appointment.

In the mist of all this craziness you my ask if were more excited or scared?
I would have to say both, but mainly still shocked. I would have never guessed that the Lord would trust us enough to entrust us with two of his precious spirits.
But amongst all the fear and doubt I have faith he will fill our short comings and bless us. As he already has with Seth. Seth is such a big boy and so great he can always since when I'm not feeling great and is extra good for me. He truly has a choice spirit and is going to be an amazing big brother.

One big post!

So I have come to the conclusion that i'm not a very good blogger. I have great intentions and take pictures of everything think, oh this would look so cute on my blog, but i never get them posted. So here I set with tons of pictures of the last 2 months and one post for all of them. Hope you in join ( the not in order) months of April and May.

Seth loves to play outside. He loves sunshine, and he loves the animals.
Mom's little man

What you can't see in this photo is that he's following the cat.
Seth does everything with Loral he loves her so much. Loral was sleeping to, but the camera woke her up thats why she looks kinda out of it.
Seth's first hair cut! It was so sad I saved ever piece. It looked so much better though.
Brads birthday was the first of may, he turned a quarter of a century. My husbands so old! LOL! Eliza and her friend Torri made him a cake. It was so so so good. Thanks Girls!

Yes seth is in a dress. Well actually its eliza's shirt, but isn't it so cute. I was always one of those people who swore never to put there little boy in a dress. OPS... oh well! It was fun.

A couple Sundays back Seth woke up really early. Brad and him took a shower and then they both crawled back into bed with me. Around 8 me and brad got up and started getting ready for church but Seth slept on. 8:30 came and went and Seth slept on finally at 8:45 ( church is at 9) we deiced we had to wake him up. So we tried but Seth slept on. We tried poking him, tickling him and even sitting him up, but Seth slept on. So Brad just started getting him dressed. Needless to say he wasn't very happy with us.

We eragate our lawn every Wednesday and yesterday it was warm enough out to that Loral convinced me to let Seth play in it. HE had a blast. It makes me really excited about this summer and the pool.

He might look like he's crying, but he was laughing.

Recently I had the opportunity to take some senior photos for some of my brothers friends. It was so much fun. ( pictures are coming). So i learned how to use photoshop. Below are some pictures that Brad got carried away with.

Seth as a W.O.W Character.
Seth crawling around Ireland!
Seth climbing the Alps
And my Favorite Seth driving his dads favorite sports car.

Seth loves to watch Brad play the game cube. when ever Brads on Seth has to have his on controller so he feels like daddy, Its so cute. Seth loves to do anything dad does. He is such a boy. P.S. Don't mind the one sock on one sock off. LOL

Above is seth hunting easter eggs. He loved it. we placed graham crackers ( his Favorite) inside. When he figured that out he loved it even more. He also loved the egg salad sandwich we gave him. He loves sandwiches.

Our beautiful eggs. My father in law said i was to old to die eggs but we did any ways. :)

Home Alone!

I'm truly spoiled. My parents and siblings have been in McCall all week for spring break. It's been so quite. I don't love it. The house is so big when no one is home. Funny how you don't realize how much you enjoy something till it's gone. Seth doesn't like it much either. Everyday around 4 he starts looking for the kids to get home. Needless to say he is so excited when Brad gets home. I think he's like finally someone besides Mom. Yesterday morning he crawled all the way to the door after Brad crying and saying Dada Dada. It was so sad, but sweet that he didn't want him to leave. I'm not sure what were going to do when we get our own place. Seth and me are going to have serious separation issues. Now don't get me wrong Brad and me have LOVED the alone time. We have really reconnected this week. We didn't really realize it at first, but it's really hard to stay connected when there are other adults in the house.

So i guess it all comes down to living with family has its pros and cons. I don't think that one out ways the other though. It's just like everything else in life. It's give and take.

P.S. Brad surprised me with these wonderful flowers, I love them. There even me favorite kind. I Love him :)

Roadsters Show

So we've made it a family tradition to go to the Boise roadsters show. I surprised Brad last year and took him, we made a weekend trip out of it and had a great time. This year we were a little closer. :) So we went Friday after work. There were a lot of amazing cars this year. Here are a few of our favorites. As you can see from the picture below, I still had to carry Seth. So I even felt the same afterwards as I did last year. (Because I was pregnant last year)

Brad wish I would let him have one.
This car changed color according to the light.
My dream car! (sigh)
If you can't tell this is a radio flyer wagon. (on steroids)
This old firetruck reminded me of our Grandpa Plott who was a firer fighter.
