Twins!
Yes this is really! I think, I still haven't quite come to terms with the fact that there are two babies inside of me instead of the one we previously believed. We found out we were expecting around the middle of May. We were excited. I have always wanted my children close in age in hopes that, they would stay close friends through adulthood. I didn't know they would be this close though. As of the end of the year I will have three children under the age of 18 months. Wow! I'm going to be busy.
I'm only 2 months along, but for any of you who have ever wondered what it would be like to have twins let me tell you. So far everything is twice as bad. The nausea, the fatigue, the raging hormones, ( my poor poor husband). And the doctor says that it will only get worse as i get further along, he told me to forget everything that I had with Seth, because this is a totally different ball game.
As for health thus far everything is good. Both babies (so strange) have strong heart beats and are doing well. My next appointment is at the end of the month and we will be able to see wither the are identical or fraternal. They will also place me in a risk category at that appointment. I will be on a first name bases with the ultrasound people by the time I deliver, as i get to see them at almost every appointment.
In the mist of all this craziness you my ask if were more excited or scared?
I would have to say both, but mainly still shocked. I would have never guessed that the Lord would trust us enough to entrust us with two of his precious spirits.
But amongst all the fear and doubt I have faith he will fill our short comings and bless us. As he already has with Seth. Seth is such a big boy and so great he can always since when I'm not feeling great and is extra good for me. He truly has a choice spirit and is going to be an amazing big brother.
